This client had huge formatting issues and then reading of the website or flow was awful, the bounce rate was insane. I review bounce rate later.
Third and ongoing is always going to be your outbound marketing or even as simple as link building. Not only placing or aquiring links but social media plays a part, press releases and other various medias. If no one knows about the site or can find it what happens? Nothing!
So before you rip through your budget plan your goals and get a plan for your SEO and SEM marketing. Remember, SEO or SEM, Search Engine Marketing, is just another form of marketing for your website or business.
